About the Social Work Library • History of the library coincides with the history of CUSSW, first School of Social Work in the nation in 1898 • 75,000 volumes, 225 print journals, reference collection, film collection, course reserves, social work dissertations, offsite collections • Facilities: group study rooms, media viewing stations, library research computers, photocopiers, networked printers, study carrels, reading room, after-hours CUSSW-only study space, wireless network • 4 full-time staff, including 1 professional librarian, 1 circulation/reserves supervisor, and 2 library assistants; occasional student workers • More info at http://www.columbia.edu/cu/lweb/indiv/socwk/
