  3. To understand the last phrase we must ask, “Who is Christ today?”

  4. Today Christ is the incarnate God, as a result of His virgin birth. The God / Man in hypostatic union. In deity He is perfect righteousness. In humanity He is impeccable, w/o sin.

  5. Jesus is glorified, in resurrected body, with a new royal title, seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us.Rom 8:34

  6. Therefore, in the world the believer is:

  7. Therefore, in the world the believer is:1) Positionally sanctified having the righteousness of God. 1 Cor 1:2, 6:11; Heb 2:11; 10:10, 14.

  8. Sanctification Heaven Positional Ultimate Experiential Christian’s Life

  9. Therefore, in the world the believer is:2) Glorified, placed in union with Christ.Rom 8:17-21, 29-30

  10. Therefore, in the world the believer is:3) A new Creation living in the resurrection life.Col 2:12; 3:1; 2 Cor 5:17; Gal 6:15

  11. Therefore, in the world the believer is:4) A member of the Royal Family of God.1 Peter 2:9

  12. 1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen race, A royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

  13. Therefore, in the world the believer is:5) A partaker of His throne. Rev 3:21

  14. Rev 3:21,“He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”

  15. Therefore, in the world the believer is:6) To intercede with prayers on behalf of our fellow man as Royal Priests and Ambassadors for Christ.

  16. Therefore, in the world the believer is:7) To perpetually reside inside GPS as a result of confession of our sins and taking every thought captive.

  17. Therefore, in the world the believer is:8) To do all things in self-sacrificial love just as Christ loved us. He is love and so also will we be.
