  1. THE BRIEF I AM FOLLOWING A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options: a website homepage for the band; a digipak for the album’s release;

  2. GENRE & TARGET AUDIENCE The Genre I am doing is Drum and Bass Males between 14-22 years old

  3. OUTLINE OF IDEAS The video is based on a typical stereotype teenage relationship that is taking place and throughout the video the emotional response changes. She is deeply in love with him and then her feelings change and she’s not sure if she is. What my video is going to look like: The clothes are going to be typical teenager stereotype style e.g. short dress/jeans or trousers… The girl in the video will have contrasting colours to the boy so less neutral to show confusion. RESEARCH A Certain Romance The Arctic Monkeys - YouTube The music video is based on the lyrics of the song, and so the video represents the music as the lyrics is about how most of societies tend to get caught up in fads, stereotypes and social expectations. The music video is specific to the lyrics, so it shows everything of what the lyrics say. Mine is going to be quite similar as is going to be very stereotypical of a typical teenager going through their teen years emotionally understanding of what they feel ‘love’ is. The music is going to be quite specific to the lyrics but not entirely due to the lyrics im using could mean different things. As with artic monkeys it was specific to a strong meaning. Also in this video it shows flashbacks and that’s what I may include for effect.

  5. WHERE WILL I FILM I will be filming at the house, street and nature reserve. To have a neutral background so the relationship stands out.

  6. WHO WILL YOU FILM I will be filming with people who have acting experience as my music video is based on a story that relates to the lyrics than having a band play. Also they will be close friends and teenagers so it will suit the video as they know each other quite well.

  7. WHAT WILL YOU FILM . I am going to try and split my shots into 7 shots. 1st shot- Girl feel she’s in her own world and starts to wake up and be fully consumed and inevitably full in love. 2nd shot- The Girl is taking risks with her relationship and doesn’t care what risks she takes as she feels it is true love. 3rd shot- The girl wants to bring the relationship her parents had but then realises that the boy she loves isn’t all that he seems he looks good on the outside and seems to act when he’s around her. And so then she finds out what he really is like and starts to think is this ‘true love’. - I may have shots from her past at this point with previous boyfriends. 4th shot- The girl starts getting loved up looking at her texts etc. and forgets about his history so she goes with her heart and head. I will be filming in stages. This is an example of my Block script.

  8. 5th shot- She realises that it is actually too much and decides at the last minute that she is not in love with him and now he’s coming and she knows that all he wants her is for sex. • 6th shot- The boy realises the signs that she is getting put off by him and he starts to realised that he actually has feelings for her and is now worried and starts rushing into conclusions thinking that there is another bloke involved. • 7thshot- They decide to part both ways and decide that this relationship is not worth it and is not going t work out. He realises there is no one else and is scared of the relationship. The girl wakes up and comes out to be a better and stronger person.
