  7. IMF CD Mission Delivery by TA and Training, FY 2010 – FY 2018 (in number of missions and FTEs as of 5/16/2017) • Training has grown in tandem with TA, with a broadly equal share of about one-eighth over the years. • This reflects ICD-RTC training, RTAC-offered training, and training organized with partners and/or under IMF02-funded projects. • STA will remain the second-largest training provider in the Fund after ICD.

  8. Medium-Term Steady State CD Architecture Complementarity of STA CD Modes of Delivery: RTACs vs D4D and FSSF Funds Operational data for policy-making Internationally accepted statistical methodologies • D4D and FSSF Funds • Emphasize getting more and better data into the hands of decision-makers • Broaden access to source data and coverage to step up quality • Develop higher-frequency and more timely data to support policy-making • Offer second-generation statistical products (e. g., RPPIs, BSAs) • Fill topical gaps (e.g., ESS) • RTACs/TAOLAM/EDDI2 • Provide CD on “bread-and-butter” statistics to establish strong methodological foundation • Emphasize inter-sectoral consistency and international comparability • Aim for basic source data • Focus on annual and, in part, quarterly data • Offer first-generation statistical products (e.g., CPI)
