1. Basic Code Management Overview This is a work for managing basic codes for a transport including transport vendors, dealers, trucks, and regions. Most basic codes are received from HMI through I/F(Interface) by GIN, and the transport work starts based on the received basic codes. 2. 1.3 Code Management Screen Name TP Vendor Inquiry Menu Path Codes > Transporter Vendor ※ Business Description This screen shows a step for managing information regarding transport vendors (carrier company). The transport vendors receives a freight price by transporting vehicles outputted from HMI factory to a chennai port or dealers of India. The GLOVIS is one of the transport vendors. The GLOVIS is an intermediate manager for transferring a transport order to the transport vendors, receiving the freight charge from HMI, and transferring the received freight charge to the transport vendors instead of HMI. When a second system is opened, the account management was added and a tax rates TDS item which was classified by transport vendors was added. The tax rate is differently applied to each of the transport vendors when the freight charge is paid to each of the transport vendors. Moreover, this system improves a business speed by shortening a name of the transport vendors through `Vendor Short Name` and recording the name of the transport vendors over than 50.
1.3 Code Management Screen Name Truck Master Menu Path Codes > Transporter ※ Business Description Each of transport vendors uses trucks, trailers, or trains. This is a screen for managing a transport means. Each of trucks of the transport vendor has an identifier truck code of 5 places. It is important to manage the identifier truck code because a transport command is performed using the identifier truck code. The `Plate No` is a number plate of the truck, but this is not appropriate to apply for a business because it is difficult to memorize the number plate of the truck. Accordingly, it is necessary to allocate a simple identifier truck code to induce a fast transport. A necessary information for an I/F(Interface) with HMI should be inputted to each of trucks. TP CD, TP.Vend.CD, Driver Mobile No, Plate No, TP Mode, Loading Qty, Main Route 1,2,3,4, Effective Date, Maker, Owner Name, Owner Kind are necessary input fields. The truck information generated from GITMS is updated to HMI through I/F. I/F of a loading quantity combination on truck, I/F of a shipping date and an arrival date, POD I/F of transport proof are transferred based on the truck information as a basis. Two truck codes for export and domestic transports are generated and used with one truck. That is, although `Plate No` is the same with each other, truck codes are different from each other. The truck code which starts with `BY` does not perform the account for the transport. That is, the transport is the end. This was determined by GIN. Moreover, in a transport using a train, the truck code is set to `R`.
1.3 Code Management Screen Name Distributor Inquiry Menu Path Codes > Distributor ※ Business Description This screen shows a step for inquiring a distributor. A dealer is a person to purchase a vehicle from HMI and sells the vehicle to a customer. In a distributor which is different from a domestic dealer, the destination of the transport is nearly same as Chennai port. The vehicle is transferred to a corresponding region to the country information of the distributor. The information of the distrtibutor is transferred from HMI through I/F, but is not modified. That is, when a certain distributor is positioned at GITMS, the distributor information is inquired.
1.3 Code Management Screen Name Car line code Menu Path Codes > Car Line ※ Business Description This screen shows a step for inquiring a vehicle mode. Various vehicle models of Hyundai including `Santro` of India are shown in the screen. A code and a name for the vehicle models manufactured by HMI factory of India are inquired. Because vehicle models increase, and the transport prices of vehicle models are different, this is a basic code for operating a system. Moreover, this is used in a whole system by calculating statistical data of a transport quantity classified by each of vehicle models. HMI generates and transfers vehicle model information to GITMS through I/F, and the vehicle model information is not modified.
1.3 Code Management Screen Name Codes Master Management Menu Path Codes > Common Codes ※ Business Description This screen shows a step for managing a basic code necessary for a system operation. Most code information are received from HMI through I/F, and the code information may be used by directly registering the code information at GITMS. For example, truck model information including a truck and a trailer is used as a common code. Moreover, a color code of the vehicle, a deduction information, and a loading time limit may be used.
1.3 Code Management Screen Name Dealer Inquiry Menu Path Codes > Dealer Inquiry ※ Business Description This screen shows a step for inquiring a dealer. The dealer purchases a vehicle from HMI and people who sells the vehicle are dispersed on each of regions of India. The India may be divided into six regions. North, East, West, South, Central, M.P & Chattisgarh (Specific region). HMI generates the dealer information which is transferred through I/F, and the dealer information is not modified by GITMS. However, because a transport vendor evades a dealer who is included in a region having a transport problem, an additional point is applied to the transport vendor in a valuation management. It is checked whether a specific dealer is included in a region having a transport problem or not. One truck may transport vehicles to at least two dealers. That is, the transport is performed via a lot of dealers. In this case, the vehicle is transferred to a dealer who is included in a neighboring region.
1.3 Code Management Screen Name Location Inquiry Menu Path Codes > Location Inquiry ※ Business Description This screen shows a step for inquiring region information where a transport vendor transports vehicles. The transport region may be divided into six regions. North, East, West, South, Central, M.P & Chattisgarh (Specific region) HMI generates region information which is transferred through I/F. The region information is not modified by GITMS. However, because HMI does not transfer reference information to classify the region information into six regions, GITMS directly classifies the region into six regions. The classified six region information are used in statistical data of the transport status classified by regions.
1.3 Code Management Screen Name Bank Inquiry Menu Path Codes > Bank Inquiry ※ Business Description This screen shows a step for managing a bank code to be used in a money collection management and a payment management.
