Religion and Mythology • Polytheistic • Teotihuacan • Well planned city containing the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon • Fell to invaders • The Aztecs believed their gods sacrificed themselves frequently for the good of the people • A human was sacrificed daily so the sun would rise
