Warm-up: What do these words mean in English? Respect - To be nice to each other. Participate - To help in an activity. Volunteer - A person who help other people to do something.
FAMILY • A group of peoplewho are relatedtoeachother, such as a mother, a father, and theirchildren.
Chinese Family • Most Chinese families are parents and 1-2 kid(s).Parents are both working, so if their children are little, they usually bring their parents to live with them to help taking care of the children while they're at work. • Most Chinese families live in apartments, big or small...

Extended Family • Extended family are the people who you do not live with or see very often. • Your extended family is your aunts, uncles and cousins.

They wish for me to get better. Also, they are important to me because if I am sad, they try to make me happy.
