  4. LEGGINGS/YOGA PANTS CAN ONLY BE WORN UNDER SKIRTS, DRESSES, OR TUNICS THAT COME WITHIN 2 INCHES OF THE KNEENO PAJAMAS OR SLIPPERS

  5. HATS MUST BE TAKEN OFF BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING…HATS THAT ARE CONFISCATED ARE GIVEN TO MR. KOVACHHOODS MAY NOT BE WORN IN SCHOOL

  6. Professional sports team clothing (to include jackets, backpacks, lanyards, binders, etc.) is not allowed. • College team clothing is allowed. PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TEAMS

Graphics and/or symbols on any personal item (to include clothing, backpacks, binders, body art, etc.) that any staff member deems as inappropriate, or disruptive to the learning environment, due to content, implied meaning, or gang/drug affiliation is not allowed. • This includes, but is not limited to, sexual innuendos. • Rosaries may not be worn outside of clothing. Clothing that reveals cleavage, your back, your chest, your stomach or your underwear is not appropriate for the classroom and will not be tolerated. • All shirts must have sleeves • The back, stomach, chest, and backside should be covered. Skin should not be visible even through clothing. YES NO MODESTY NO

  9. Necklines cannot dip below the straight line made across the chest when crossing from the top of one armpit to the other. • No holes or rips (even stylistically intentional, even with layers underneath) are allowed in pants, shorts or skirts. PROFESSIONAL DRESS

  11. CAN IT BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANENTLY? If YES, life goes on. Inappropriate bracelets, rings, jewelry, or rosaries will be confiscated and can be picked up after school If NO, student goes to ISS immediately and will not return to class until the infraction is permanently corrected. Student is not allowed to stay in class or say they will fix it at a later time. Student may return to class once the violation has been permanently fixed Dress Code Violation Determining Question

WHAT CONSTITUTES A “PERMANENT FIX” • Saggy pants must be tightened with a belt-not just pulled up • Tank tops cannot be pulled up-shirt must be changed • Jackets cannot be zipped up to hide inappropriate shirt • Shirts cannot be turned inside out • Rosaries worn on the outside, inappropriate bracelets, rings, jewelry, or other accessories will be confiscated and picked up after school • No tape on holes REMINDER TO TEACHERS: ALL VIOLATIONS, WHETHER FIXED PERMANENTLY OR NOT, MUST BE LOGGED ON THE “BIG 4”. REPEAT VIOLATIONS WILL BE TRACKED BY ADMINISTRATION. Dress Code Clarifications
