Explore Sun Shade List observations from the shade. • List observations from the sun.
Explain • Sun – Source of all energy. • Heat - form of energy that warms objects. • Energy – gives us the ability to do things.
List the ways that the sun’s energy can come to you! As a class write the children’s idea’s on the board : Example (i.e., food,wood, coal, oil, gas, light, plants, trees, heat, wind.)
Evaluate • In groups, the students will share their sunbeam project with each other, and explain why they chose their sources.
