  4. What Happened to OCM1? • Functionality. Did not meet diverse College needs • Technically. Was not robust • Change. Huge impact of switch to online marking • Support. Underestimated the support needed

  5. What are we doing now? • New approach: • Review assessment policy and practice • Better staff engagement and support • Better software to suit Exeter’s needs • Interim eSubmission options

How will we get there? • Review assessment policy and practice - Jun 2013 • Workshops, capture requirements, agree common processes, scope of software solution • Better staff engagement and support – Aug 2013 • Research, College champions, workshops • Better software to suit Exeter’s needs – Jul 2013 • Detailed requirements specification, Market research • Interim eSubmission options – Sep 2013 • Review existing systems, development, documentation and training • OCM2 implementation –Sep 2014

  7. How can I get involved? We need champions to: •Spread the word in Colleges • Assist with product evaluation • Research evidence of impact of on-line marking • Review assessment practice • Identify interim solutions and improvements
