Worth seeing Parachute Tower Katowiceis a 50 meter tall lattice parachute tower built in 1937 for training parachute jumps, locatedin Kościuszko Park. It was used in the first days of World War II by 73rd regiment of infantry as an observation tower.Thisistheonly one towerlocatedin Poland. Ifyoualreadyin Kościuszko Park, youcanvisitChurch of St. Michael Archangel, whichis a littlechurchmade of wood. It was builtin 1510 in Syrynia, but in 1938 it was moved to Katowice.
