  11. Data Review Analysis of needs Proposed goals and priorities Decisions that need made? ie. what schools to serve? How to distribute building allocations? What do we do in the event we have carryover? Proposed Title I SW/TA schools Proposed Title I Set-asides Proposed use of Title I-C, II, III, etc What to talk about?

  13. Survival Tip # 1 Transparency with schools and stakeholders about methods of allocating funds and use of funds.

  14. Survival Tip # 2 Have you seen the allocation yet ? What do you put in your document library ? Where is that “consolidated application” check button in eGAP ? Know who to call when you need help fast ! Network !!! Meet regularly with your region to share innovative ideas ? Collaborate ! Professional learning !

  15. Survival Tip # 3Thoroughly review expenditure reports monthly and give out school copies during principal meetings with notes/highlights.

  16. Survival Tip # 4 If you brought your feelings into the job, kindly place them in your pocket, and don’t be afraid to tell’em “NO”. Check-up

  17. Survival Tip # 5Review state timeline with your team and develop a timeline that your CIP teams can use that’s specific to your school system.
