  2. 2012 Central / Southern Regional Meeting • Theme: Clarifying the Challenges of 21st Century Medicine • March 29 - April 1, 2012 Clearwater, Florida • Call for Proposal (just finalized last week) • We are soliciting proposals for presentations in all areas of student affairs, including admissions, student records, diversity affairs, financial assistance, student services, student activities, professional development, and career guidance.    • In keeping with the theme, we are particularly interested in presentations that address how we can clarify the future when providing services to our “customers” (students, applicants, others). By creating a clearly articulated environment that is open, inviting, collegial, and non-threatening, we are more likely to increase recruitment, utilization, compliance, and satisfaction. • https://sites.google.com/site/cgsasgsaspringmeeting/home/call-for-proposals

OSR Updates • VSAS • One hundred and twelve medical schools and teaching hospitals will use the Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) to accept visiting student applications for the 2012-2013 academic year!
