  3. Melanie Lawrence-Smith has over twenty years of experience in K–12 administration and classroom teaching, and she is currently serving a five-year term as an Advocate at Regional Centers of Excellence (RCE). She assists educational institutions in promoting student achievement.

  4. Melanie Lawrence-Smith enjoys dancing, jumping rope, rollerblading, walking her dogs, gardening, and being outside, among other things.

  5. Melanie Lawrence-Smith is drawn to the culinary profession because she enjoys cooking and dining out. Talking about the newest trends in pop culture and remembering important occasions makes her life even better.
