Instructor Tasks:Pedagogical • Facilitate discussion/chats • Provide feedback • Prompt reflection • Provide context expertise • Integrate team-based activities • Promote a variety of interactions and opportunities for learning • Support flexibility
Instructor Support Tasks: Pedagogical Role • Provide online instructor training • Develop chat and discussion strategies in advance and co-facilitate chat • Assistance with providing formal midpoint course feedback to students • Track learner participation • Set expectations for timely and quality feedback from instructor • Develop rubrics and scoring tools • Support teambuilding and collaboration
