Important events PSAT for juniors • Signups Sept. 23-Oct. 9 before and after school • Cost $14/ must have money when signing up (Cash or Check to North) • Test will be Wednesday, Oct. 16 7:35-11am • College Go Week is Sept. 23-27 the following colleges will waive the application fee: Hanover, ISU, IUPUI, Wabash, Vincennes University Senior class visits – finishing up with students this week Junior class visits - Counselors are in classes discussing similar information & enrollment for next year Sept. 30, Oct. 2, Oct. 8 Greater Evansville College Fair (30th Annual)= Sunday, Oct. 6 at USI 1:30-3:30 in the PAC (Gym) Infinite Scholar College & Scholarship Fair = Sunday, Oct. 13 3:30-5:30pm at the Centre. Must File the FASFA on or before March 10, 2014 Many colleges want it filed by March 1st. 21st Century Scholars – our local contact is Barbara Martin. Her email Bmartin@learnmore.org. Requesting a Transcript Parchment Hardcopies Need a hardcopy transcript: See your counselor and you will receive it in an envelope sealed with a signature on the back Or If you want it mailed from our office please bring an addressed, stamped envelope with no return address. We will stamp it with the North High address and it will be mailed off the next school day. Electronic Parchment Directions: Best to use Internet Explorer on your netbooks. • Go to www.parchment.com. Top right corner asks you to Sign Up or Sign In. • To register: Add your high school (complete this section), you began in 2010, waive right for us, signature, parent name. We recommend saying NO to permission to lenders & newsletter, YES to you and your parents approving this account. • After registered: My transcripts: Send latest, search & choose a college. • It will say successfully delivered, no fee to send to in state colleges. Charged to send to self.

We want to know about your College acceptance & scholarship information! • Email your counselor or bring a hardcopy of your letter of acceptance to the counseling office so we can showcase your greatness! Also, keep all scholarship award information, accepted and not accepted, for class day and reports to the EVSC.
