Code Rule 56 • Fire and Life Safety Issues • Egress, fire protection systems, emergency lighting, evacuation plan • Negative Air Ventilation System Disconnect Switches • For enclosures that are an entire floor, multiple floors or > 15,000 sq. ft. on any given floor • Coordinated w/Fire Dept and location posted on ground floor

Code Rule 56 • Fire-retardant or non-combustible barriers and decontamination system enclosures • Review and acceptance of the asbestos project documents by the AHJ for project life/fire safety for compliance with local building and fire codes • Portable Fire Extinguishers • Each work area and where special hazards exist
