SNS Names Schema • Contains names for Magnets, Power Supplies, Diagnostics Devices, RF devices, EPICS Records, Beam Elements, Vacuum devices etc. • Names follow “SNS Naming Convention” • Database Design and Basic Data Entry Tools are built to help follow the naming convention automatically SNS Project, BNL

SNS Names Schema • Expected to serve as a glue for other schemas such as Optics, Magnets etc. to keep the name consistency • Schema design, Data Entry Forms and Reports are available on the WEB • Many names have been entered in the database (thanks to Joanne and Jenny) • Replication of the BNL database to ORNL is expected SNS Project, BNL

Magnet Measurement and Survey Schema • This database has been modeled after the work done on the LHC project, a multi lab collaboration (CERN, FNAL, BNL, KEK ). • Magnet Schema is designed to be used for • production-magnet quality assurance • field and alignment error impact analysis • multi-element assembly assistance and • ring installation assistance. MagnetMeasurement and Survey Schema • The Database Structure can be extended to include magnet data from Linac, HEBT and RTBT • Logical and Physical design of the Magnet database is done using Designer 2000 • Design reports and diagrams are available on the WEB • Schema has been installed at BNL as well as at ORNL SNS Project, BNL

Optics Schema • Contains the description of various components of the SNS Accelerator • Database design is based on the Accelerator Definition Exchange Format(ADXF) document by Nikolay Malitsky • A Schema of the Optics Database is published in a report, “A Prototype of the SNS Optics Database” SNS Project, BNL
