English 10 - 5/21/12. Eat lunch at a different table every day. Mixing in with groups of people will help break up the clique mentality. We might have a lot more in common with other groups than we know. Can people get their way just by being pushy and ignoring all objections?

  1. English 10 - 5/21/12 • Eat lunch at a different table every day. Mixing in with groups of people will help break up the clique mentality. We might have a lot more in common with other groups than we know. • Can people get their way just by being pushy and ignoring all objections? • What did the pancake say to the baseball player? • Dat – a cross between a dog and a cat with the worst characteristics of each. Goals – Introduce vocabulary #33. Finish notes. Homework – Don’t forget to study for Vocabulary #33. Checking dailies tomorrow.

  4. English 10 - 5/24/12 • Should a person be willing to change for the person he or she loves? Can a person change? How? • How do you get a peanut to laugh? • Yazzihamper – a lunkhead. Goals – Do Anticipation Guide as a basis a study of changing values. Watch video, make sure Homework – none.

  5. English 10 - 5/25/12 • Five minutes to study for vocabulary Quiz # 35. • What do you get when you cross a goose and a camel? • Smouger – a cheat; chisler. Goals – Successfully complete vocabulary study #33. Watch video. Work on character names. Homework – none.
