Costume Ideas for Culture Day • Girls do not have to be this perfect!!
A long skirt, a blouse and an apron or shawl makes an outfit!
Costumes do not have to be expensive!!! Dig through the back of your closets or check out the Good Will or Family Thrift for inexpensive items! • Girls – long skirts & dresses, flowered or solid shirts, aprons or shawls, hats • Boys- dark pants, white shirts, tie/bolo, hats, vests, or jackets, Baseball pants for knickers!
Don’t Buy! Be creative!! • Electric or duct tape makes an excellent stripe on pant legs or rank bars on jackets • Any fabric or shawl makes an apron • Table clothes make lovely shawls • The Thrift store is an excellent place to shop for pieces. Start Now, May 24th will be here before you know it!!
