  9. We are Molded by the Lord’s Teachings • This is not done instantly or miraculously! • Our mind is renewed as we study and learn the teachings of Christ. • Our life is transformed as we apply these teachings to ourselves.

We are Molded by the Lord’s Teachings “that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24

  12. This Molding is a Process • It takes time - Phil. 3:12-16 • This shows our need for God to mold us. • Also shows God’s patience and individual care in taking the time to “re-mold” us when necessary.

  14. This Molding Has a Purpose “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21
