Facts About Cancer • Cancer is a disease that happens everywhere. • It effects mainly effects people in their teens, 20’s, and 30’s. • There is one diagnose of cancer every eight minutes. • Cancer effects children seven times more. • There are many different types of cancer. • Lung cancer is the worst type of all cancer.
What Causes Cancer? • Cancer can be caused by a constant fear of getting cancer. • Itcan be caused by smoking, drugs, and alcohol. • The most common reason is a wound over- healing. • Cancer can be caused by genetic changes in skin, lung, or stomach cells may transform the cell into a cancer cell.
The Effects of Cancer • Treatments like cemo can make the patients very ill within minutes. It also feels like fire going through their veins. • Sometimes if the cancer is to advanced, the treatments do nothing, and a family loses a loved one.
Preventions of Cancer • A combination of a healthy diet, regular physical activity, and a healthy body weight can lower the risks of cancer. • Some tips to help prevent cancer are to stay away from tobacco, protect yourself from to much sunlight, tanning beds, and sunlamps.
Free From Cancer The happiest day of Heidi's life was when she heard that her cancer was cured as far as the doctors could see. In between her tears of joy she said “ Thank . . . you so much.” Even though there are 72,00 diagnosis of cancer each year, many people eventually over come it through many struggles. Scientists are finding new ways to help treat the cancer directly without causing much damage to the body.
