1. ERA Installation: Server Prerequisites • Operating System : Windows server 2003 standard Edition SP2 with NO Apache and MySQL pre- installed on it. Note: There is NOneed to remove ERA 6 from the server. You can install both the ERA versions on the same server machine.
2. ERA Installation : Client Prerequisites • Please Ensure the Following: • Operating system should be either • Windows XP with SP3 OR • Windows Server 2003 with SP2 OR • Windows Vista SP1 or later • Windows 7 • Web Browser: Preferably Internet Explorer 8, Chrome, Firefox
3. ERA Installation steps 1. Double click on the ERA2.exe
Below message will appear.. 2. Click on ‘OK’ to start the installation process
Now just sit back and relax for a while.. Automated ERA installation process will get started.
One by one different softwares will be installed on your machine… JAVA MySQL Apache Flash Player Note: During these installations, your monitor screen will be locked. You will not be able to control anything. The installation process will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
At the end, below message will appear.. 3. Click ‘OK’ to finish the installation process.
ERA is installed on your machine now. Click on above ERA shortcut icon on your desktop to access ERA.
4. ERA Activation steps 1) Click on above ERA shortcut icon on your desktop, below screen will appear 2) Click on ‘Activate Now’ to activate the ERA
4. ERA Activation steps 3) Enter login credentials and click on ‘Activate’ Activate
4. ERA Activation steps 4) You will see this message after successful account activation
4. ERA Uninstallation steps 1)Remove apache service from machine • Open cmd.exe • Type cd c:\apache\bin and press ENTER • Type service.bat uninstall and press ENTER • Wait for command to execute. It will remove Apache service from services. 2)Uninstall MySQL from ‘Add/Remove Program’
4. ERA Uninstallation steps 3) You will still findMySQL folder .So delete it manually from following location. • In windows sever 2003 STD SP2 a. C:\Documents and Settings\All user\Application Data\MySQL b. C:\Program Files\MySQL Delete Folder from Both Location. 4) Delete Apache Directory from c:\Apache
4. ERA Uninstallation steps 5) Delete appropriate desktop icon [optional] 6) Restart system once before setup again uuu
