Product Description • Combination of Dunkin’ Donuts franchises in the TJX chains of TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods. • Product roll out beginning in Massachusetts, in approximately 50% of available selected TJX locations.
Target Market • TJX and Dunkin Donuts target women of 50+ years. • Main focus: People on the go to get in and out as fast as possible • 84% consume their coffee at breakfast • 56% of adults living in the United States drink coffee every day. • Dunkin Donuts serves nearly 2.7 millions cups a day.
Operation Plan Location of Business: Over the course of the first fiscal year, beginning in MA, approximately 60 stores • 40 TJ Maxx • 40 Marshalls • 20 HomeGoods will be outfitted with the business concept.
Operation Plan • Suppliers and Supply Chain: franchisees are obligated to conform to Dunkin’ Donuts’ system, including going through headquarters’ choice of supplier. The supplier is Dunkin’ Donuts Northeast Distribution Center, Inc.
