Guiding Principles – Recruiting & Selection • Use Taleo Applicant Tracking System • Equal Employment Opportunity • Job Seeker – An individual interested in seeking a position with a Cox Employer who submits their resume online via the applicant tracking system. • Applicant – Must meet 4 criteria • Individual submits an expression of interest in employment through the internet or related electronic technologies, including but not limited to faxes, emails, resumes databases, job banks, employer websites and applicant tracking systems. • Individual is considered for employment in a particular position. • Individual’s expression of interest indicates that the individual possesses the basic qualifications for the position. • Individual at no point in the selection process prior to receiving a job offer removes him or herself from further consideration or otherwise indicates no further interest in the position.
Guiding Principles – Recruiting & Selection • Requisitions will be created by hiring managers and approved one level up from the hiring manager. • The number of required requisition approvals may vary by division. • If needed, evergreen/pipeline requisitions will be created by recruiters and should remain posted for no longer than six months. • Requisitions must be posted internally for a minimum of 5 business days. • May be posted externally at the same time
