  2. What is a Utopian Society? • a society where everything & everyone is perfect and the same • there are no world problems, such as diversity, poverty,etc., in the society • invented by Sir Thomas More

  3. Examples of Utopias • Oneida Community Mansion House- they all believed that Jesus had already returned in A.D 70 • Shakertown at Pleasant Hill- they believe God is in nature To the left: Shakertown at Pleasant Hill

  4. Our Utopia • our Utopia is called Micnatsie • Let’s take a journey to Micnatsie!!!

  5. Basic Community Rules • no non – medically needed drugs • ABSOLUTELY no littering • only hovercrafts are allowed • no texting while driving your hovercraft • all children MUST participate in a recreational activity • NO RACISM!!!

  6. Family Guidelines • families must be made up of 2 parents & 3 children, whatever gender they may choose • families must read a daily devotion together before going anywhere • families must eat at least one meal a day together

  7. Marriage Guidelines • have to be at least 25 years old to be married • have to be married for 2 years before having a child • HAVE to be married before having a child • can name children whatever they want

  8. Education • only required to go to school 3 days a week • must learn all 5 subjects- math, science, English, reading, & history • must know all the history of the society • MUST respect ALL teachers, or you will be punished • School hours are from 10:00- 3:00 • will get to and from school through society’s transportation- hovercraft

  9. Careers • jobs will be determined by your personalities and traits • you must start your job given at the age 20 • jobs may vary from bakers to construction workers to teachers • Will get paid in Chevrons( nation’s currency) • have a market economy

  10. Other Things • the standard of living is very high • citizens get everything they need • we have all kinds of technology- tvs, cell phones, tablets, computers, etc.

  11. Religious Beliefs • religion is Christianity • everyone believes in 1 God • everyone must go to church more than once a week • must read the Bible EVERYDAY • follow the 10 Commandments • know every book of the Bible • PRAY EVERDAY!!

  12. Medical Guidelines • only take medicine that is prescribed to YOU! • only take prescribed dosage • only come to ER when absolute needed • there are only 10 doctors available in the community

  13. Government Guidelines • has a mayor with a city council • not a dictatorship • no hovercrafts in unauthorized areas • mayor is elected by citizens, but doesn’t make decisions alone • citizens have a say in the government M

  14. Micnatsie Pledge: I pledge allegiance To Micnatsie and To the chevron For which it’s placed One Society under God Perfect in every way. AMEN!
