  2. Michael Harrington served the New York Police Department for almost seven years. He joined the department as a police officer in 2002 and in 2009, he took voluntary retirement. He was posted at the head office of New York Police Department at 1 Police Plaza, New York. He was always committed to serve the people in his area and maintain peace. He sincerely fulfilled all his duties as an officer and followed all the orders. It is not easy to join the New York Police Department. One needs to have required qualification, pass the written test and the physical test. Michael Harrington worked really hard to be a part of the New York Police Department. Joining as a police officer was his dream, which he fulfilled in 2002. He pursued graduation in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. This was his first step towards becoming a police officer. He graduated from the college in 2008.

  3. Michael also studied in Drake Business School for completing Executive Business Diploma. He pursued a six months certification course in Word Processing and Accounting from American Business Institute. The word processing and accounting skills helped him in his initial jobs. Michael started working in 1995 when he joined Investors Associates, Inc. He also worked for First Hanover Securities. After that, he joined a marketing job at Clark Boardman Callaghan, a publishing unit, which later on became West Publishing. This publishing company offered legal books for attorneys. Michael also worked at N.W Ayer and Schick Technologies, Inc. Both these jobs were as a sales representative. He was responsible for selling the products and services of the companies. He worked at Inspirica Inc., a tutoring service and the Art Institute of New York City. He managed enrollments and helped in selling educational programs.

  4. All these jobs gave him an exposure and evolved him as a professional. He has keen interest in art, music, and sports from his early years. He likes to attend live concerts and sports events that are arranged locally. He also likes to watch his favorite sports on TV. He likes to guide the youth and help them choose the right career path. Being an education counselor, he is efficient in guiding students and resolving their problems. Michael Harrington pleasantly recalls the time spent at New York Police Department and values his experience as a police officer.
