KSU College of Nursing • Program includes liberal arts, science, math, nursing theory, and clinical requirements • The nursing curriculum provides a general professional nursing education organized in terms of ascending complexity • Curriculum focuses on promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of individuals, families, groups and communities
KSU College of Nursing (CON) • BSN program prepares general practitioners – “Generalists” – beginning practitioners (still require a license to practice) • MSN program prepares specialists in the nursing field – CNS (Clinical Nurse Specialist), NP (Nurse Practitioner)
