  13. Los Colores - Rules • Colors are adjectives. • All adjectives have to agree with the nouns they describe. • They have to agree in number (singular or plural) and gender (masculine or feminine). • The color always is placed after the noun, not before!

  14. Los Colores – Rules (continued) Number: • If the noun is singular, the color has to be singular. If the noun is plural, the color has to be plural. Example: libro libro rojo libros libros rojos

  15. Los Colores – Rules (continued) Gender: • If the noun is feminine, the color must be feminine. If the noun is masculine, the color must be masculine. Example: el papel blanco la pluma blanca
