Overview of the Current State of DRG Evaluation

This report provides an overview of the current status of DRG evaluation in Croatia, Greece, FYR of Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine. It discusses DRG evaluation at macro and sub-sectorial levels, emphasizing aspects like consensus inclusion, competition, political accountability, rule of law, human rights, and government responsiveness. The report examines DRG evaluation practices and capacities, opportunities and constraints in integrating DRG, and challenges related to DRG evaluation. The method includes desk research, stakeholder analysis, and focus groups held in Thessaloniki in October 2018 to provide a synthesis of the highlights.
