Points of Action in the Legislative Cycle Congressional Hearings • NGB senior leaders and LL’s meet with key members and committee staff in advance of hearings • LL contacts member offices to determine items of interest • LL Preps NGB Senior Leaders for testimony • NGB senior leaders testify before congressional appropriation and authorization committees
Points of Action in the Legislative Cycle Post Hearing Actions • NGB receives and responds to official questions for the record submitted by members • NGB-LL meets with members and staff as requested to follow up on any issues/concerns raised during the hearings • Timely/Accurate/Compete information is critical
