5. Wax Additives / Processing Aids Products: Polyethylene Wax Polyethylene waxes can be made in two main grades, emulsifiable and non emulsifiable waxes. The differences between both the grades are in relation to the molecular weight. The products are made in the molecular weight range of around 6000 and in the range of around 2000 to 4000. 20 Microns Nano Minerals are making different grades of Polyethylene Wax : ➢ Fast Flow P ➢ Fast Flow S ➢ Flow AID 1. LUBRICANTS / PE WAX Description: Polymers are made of long chain molecules of varying sizes and distributions. MICRONISED WAX Description: A good definition of micronized wax is a wax powder with an average particle size of less than ten micrometers Micronisedwax products are successfully used today in many industries, such as paints, coatings, plastics, inks and adhesives

WAX EMULSION Description : Wax emulsion refers to the water based system with the particle size distribution below 1 µm, distinguished by the emulsion iconicity, it can be non ionic, anionic, and cationic. Wax emulsion is different from wax dispersion; it has no matting effect and is used for coating and inks which has high requirement on gloss. Products Flowlube Emulsion: FLOWLUBE EMULSION is advance surface protection and scratch resistance additives for coatings. Wax Emulsion is different from wax dispersion. It is non ionic emulsion of modified paraffin wax.

Inorganic Rheology Modifiers Products • Hydroxylgel Partial Replacement of Organic Thickener in Water Base It also works as co-thickener with cellulosic, associative and alkalis well able thickener. HYDROXYLGEL used for water borne system in paints, adhesives, sealants and coatings, printing inks. Thixotropy of HYDROXYLGEL allows Paint, Adhesive and Printing Ink to spread easily when rolled, sprayed or brushed and than stiffen at a controlled rate. HYDROXYLGEL thickeners provide sag resistance, viscosity control, spread ability and excellent feathering at low cost. 1. ATTAPULGITE – THIXOTROPIC THICKENERS AND RHEOLOGY MODIFIERS Description: Attapulgite, a naturally occurring mineral, is a crystalline hydrated magnesium alumino-silicate. Fully hydrated attapulgite grades thickens liquids without swelling Attapulgiteproducts are able to build viscosity in the presence of very high salt concentrations.

9. Inorganic Rheology Modifiers Products: • Rio-Bent EW Highly Purified Surface Modified White Bentonite Rio-Bent EW is suspending and thickening properties with pigments and extenders. It is excellent thixotropy for reducing sags & drips. Rio-Bent EW additive is highly beneficiated, easily dispersible white bentonite clay. 2. REFINED WHITE BENTONITE Description : It is valued for its ability to swell in water and to impart useful rheological properties to aqueous compositions. Bentonite have a high specific surface area, high plasticity, expand when wet; and is inert and non-toxic.

ORGANOCLAY Description: The bentonite in its natural state can absorb up to seven times its weight in water Organoclay can be used to remove oil from water, as a component in paint formulations or as a viscosifier for oil-based drilling fluids. It can be used in polymer chemistry as a nucleating agent. RIO – BENT is an organic derivative of bentonite clay act as Rheological additive in low Alcoholtohigh polarity systems. Such as Ketones, Glycol,, Esters and Ethers, includes Polar System with some Aromatic Solvents.

11. Expanded Clay (Kaolins) Products • Hypercilite Flash Calcined China Clay (Kaolin), provides the paint formulator with a tool to reduce TiO2 by up to 30% when replacing conventional minerals. Sealed rather than open voids result in better wet opacity, and allow dry hiding to occur even below the CPVC of the coating. The high durability of Hypercilite makes it particularly suitable for use in high quality paints. 1. FLASH CALCINED KAOLIN Description: Flash calcination is a process whereby a solid, usually in finely divided form, is heated rapidly, held at temperature for a short time, and then cooled rapidly. HYPERCILITE is Engineered Calcined Kaolin for high opacity, high gloss & high reducing strength in interior & exterior paints & coatings.

12. Expanded Clay (Kaolins) • Markets Expanded Perlite can be manufactured to weigh from 2 lb/ft3 (32 kg/m3) to 15 lb/ft3 (240 kg/m3) making it especially suitable for use in insulation applications. Perlite is used in the manufacture of high temperature and cryogenic insulation, lightweight perlite insulating concrete, insulating board, insulating plasters, masonry wall insulation and as under floor insulation. 2. Expanded Perlite Description: Perlite is not a trade name but a generic term for naturally occurring siliceous volcanic rock. The distinguishing feature which sets perlite apart from other volcanic glasses is that when heated to a suitable point in its softening range, it expands four to twenty times its original volume.

Expanded Clay (Kaolins) • Markets In its expanded form, vermiculite has a very low density and thermal conductivity, which makes it attractive for use as a soil amendment, lightweight construction aggregate, and thermal insulation filler. Expanded vermiculite also has a very large chemically active surface area, which makes it useful as an absorbent in some chemical processes. When vermiculite is ground into a fine powder, it is used as a filler in inks, paints, plastics, and other materials. • 3. VERMICULITE Description: When commercial vermiculite flakes are heated and expanded, they undergo a color change that depends on the chemicals present and the temperature of the furnace. The resulting expanded vermiculite granules are usually a gold-brown color.

Matting Agent Products: Description: The matting agent is prepared by hydrothermal treatment of colloidal silica By treatment the silica surface can be partially modified with organic (waxes) or inorganic material for better dispersion in the reaction medium. The higher the matting agent dosing in a Coating, the stronger the matting effect. The matting power of matting additives depends on their Chemical, Morphological, and Physical properties. • FMSIL Series Is a high performance silica developed for variety of applications in paints and coatings to achieve matt finish. 19. DIATOMACEOUS (SILICEOUS) EARTH Description: Siliceous earth is an inorganic material, which has chemical composition of [>80] of amorphous of Silica. This amorphous phase is very rare and used widely in industrial scale because of its high porosity, fine particle size, very low density and its high surface area. CALCIUM OXIDE DESICCANT (VAPOROXOL) Products: • Vaporoxol– 3F Surface Treated Calcium Oxide Our Grade name is Vaporoxol, it is surface treated fine calcium oxide powder for use as an effective desiccant. The calcium oxide is coated by a chemically indifferent hydrocarbon. Due to this preparation Vaporoxol has reduced air pollution Description: Calcium Oxide Desiccant is the most economical and old line Desiccant; its essential component is calcium oxide, which absorb moisture by chemical reaction. Compare with Silica-gel, it has high ability of absorption of moisture, can ensure the retention period of material for more than six months. Calcium Oxide Desiccant is most effective where low critical relative humidity is necessary, and were there is a high concentration of water vapor present.
