Important points on differentiation • Create an interest profile- Google form • Find out students learning styles/multiple intelligences • Parent feedback • Utilize diagnostic scores and student data • Group students appropriately • PLAN for differentiation!

Extension Once your map is completed you are to write out five directions from one place to another. Each direction must have one of these terms: parallel, intersecting or perpendicular. These directions should be able to get your teacher and classmates from one place to another without getting lost!
I went to Disney World this summer for vacation. It was really fun. I liked going on the ride, It’s a Small World. It was cute. Space Mountain was definitely my favorite, it’s very fast. The hotel we stayed at had a swim up bar at the pool where I got a coconut slushy and drank it on the raft. They also had a gigantic movie screen where we could watch movies while floating in the pool at night. On our last night there, we saw the fireworks explode over Cinderella’s Castle, it was spectacular. Rewrite this paragraph below using a good sentence to “hook” the audience. At least one example of imagery and one simile.
