  2. Overview • 6th & 10th Graders collaborated on a Health/Biology Project that promoted physical activity. • Goal: Students produce a 45 second exercise video that demonstrated exercises that could be done at their desk

  5. Getting Started • Discussion about compatible content • Decided on a Health topic and narrowed the focus to exercise • Outlined our plan for the project • Set location and gathered equipment • Group Assignments

  7. Project Activities: Day 1 • Pre-assessment • Introduction to Project • Assigned Groups • “Getting to Know You” activity • Assign Body Group • Started Research

  8. Day 2-3 • Continue research • Create storyboard • Gather props • Begin dress rehearsal • Revise storyboard • Organize network folders to upload music files

  9. Day 4 • Video taping • Making cue cards • Revise storyboard

  10. Day 5-7 • Upload videos to laptops • Introduction to Movie Maker • Editing video • Organize network folders: music files, video files, word files, photo files

  11. Day 8 • Viewed completed videos • Exercise session

  12. Day 9 • Create promotional posters using Glogster • Promotional Poster using EDU Glogster • Write article for newspaper • Publish to school website
