1. PINICCHIO COPIONE represented by Istituto Comprensivo Toniolo- Pisa, Italy LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WELCOME TO OUR SHOW: PINOCCHIOONCE UPON A TIME A PIECE OF WOOD…. SCENE 1 GEPPETTO’S HOME FIRST NARRATOR: - This is Geppetto’s home. Geppetto is carving a piece of wood. GEPPETTO: - I’m a carpenter. I make puppets. This is my puppet Pinocchio. SECOND NARRATOR: - During the night a fairy arrives at Geppetto’s house. FAIRY: - Dear Pinocchio if you are a good boy you’ll become a real boy. PINOCCHIO: - Good fairy! I promise. THIRD NARRATOR: - Pinocchio is very noisy. TALKING CRICKET: - Pinocchio you are a liar. PINOCCHIO: - You bad cricket! Take this! FOURTH NARRATOR:- Pinocchio kills the cricket with a hammer.

2. In the morning Geppetto sends Pinocchio to school. GEPPETTO: - Go to school now and be good. PINOCCHIO: - Don’t worry dad. Good –bye. SCENE2 PUPPET SHOW THEATRE MUSIC FIRST NARRATOR: - Pinocchio doesn’t go to school; he goes to see a puppet show. PUPPET: Come to see the puppet show! PINOCCHIO: - Hello friends! It’s very amusing! SECOND NARRATOR: - The puppet show master is very angry. STROMBOLI: - Who is doing all that confusion? I’ll burn you. PINOCCHIO: - Have mercy. My father is very poor. THIRD NARRATOR: - Stromboli sneezes. He becomes good. STROMBOLI:- Here are 5 gold coins for your father.  SCENE 3 MIRACLE FIELD MUSIC FIRST NARRATOR: - Pinocchio meets Mr. Fox and Mr. Cat. MR. FOX: - Pinocchio come with us to Miracle field! MR. CAT: - You’ll have thousand of gold coins. SECOND NARRATOR: - Pinocchio puts his coins under the earth.

3.   PINOCCHIO: - Help! They are stealing my money! THIRD NARRATOR: - Mr. Fox and Mr. Cat hang Pinocchio on a tree. SCENE 4 FAIRY’S HOUSE MUSIC FIRST NARRATOR: -The fairy arrives and helps Pinocchio. FAIRY: - Pinocchio you are very ill. I shall call the doctors. PINOCCHIO: Thank you good fairy. SECOND NARRATOR: - Three doctors arrive. FIRST DOCTOR: - He is dead! SECOND DOCTOR: - No he is alive! THIRD DOCTOR: - He needs this medicine! PINOCCHIO: - Nooooo! I don’t want the medicine. FAIRY: - Have the medicine or your nose will become very long. THIRD NARRATOR: Pinocchio’s nose becomes very long. PINOCCHIO: - Good fairy give me the medicine! FOURTH NARRATOR: - Pinocchio is good now. He goes to school and the fairy is happy.

4. SCENE 5 AT SCHOOL MUSIC FIRST NARRATOR: - Pinocchio is at school. He meets Lucignolo, a bad boy. LUCIGNOLO:- Pinocchio, come with me to fun fairs land. PINOCCHIO: - I don’t like school. Ok I’ll come. SECOND NARRATOR: They leave for fun fairs. MAN: - Come on! Let’s go. Merry-go-rounds! Slides! Ice-creams! Balloons! No school! No school! SCENE 6 AT FUN FAIR LAND MUSIC FIRST NARRATOR: - Pinocchio and Lucignolo are at Fun Fairs Land. They play all day. PINOCCHIO AND LUCIGNOLO: - Yuppy! Hurra! Let’s play! SECOND NARRATOR: - The day after they become donkeys! LUCIGNOLO: - Show me your ears! PINOCCHIO: - Oh no! We are donkeys! It was better at school! THIRD NARRATOR: - Pinocchio is sold to a circus.

5. SCENE 7 AT THE CIRCUS SHOW MUSIC FIRST NARRATOR: - Pinocchio works in a circus show. PINOCCHIO: - I’m very sad. I miss my father and the good fairy. MAN: - Go on Pinocchio! Jump! One, two, three… Oh no! SECOND NARRATOR: - Pinocchio falls down and breaks one leg.  SCENE 8 THE SEA MUSIC FIRST NARRATOR: - The tamer wants to drown Pinocchio. PINOCCHIO: - Help! My dear daddy! My good fairy! SECOND NARRATOR: - A big whale arrives and eats Pinocchio. PINOCCHIO: - How dark it is! Oh a light! Who are you? GEPPETTO: - It’s daddy Pinocchio. I’m here too. THIRD NARRATOR: Pinocchio and Geppetto want to escape. MR. THUNN: The whale has got a cold! Come with me! Let’s go!

6. GEPPETTO: - Thank you. FOURTH NARRATOR: - Pinocchio and Geppetto are safe. PINOCCHIO: - I promise to be good from now on! FAIRY: - Pinocchio! Pinocchio! You aren’t a puppet any more, you are a real boy now! AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER
