Bell work: A king’s dilemma • A King is dying and his only 2 sons are twins. He needs to give his kingdom to one of them. He tells his sons, “I want you to have a horse race to the Tower. The Prince whose horse reaches the tower second will inherit my Kingdom.” The princes are perplexed…they pace around for hours not knowing what to do until eventually an old wise man passes by. He hears them speaking of their dilemma and smiles. He calls the princes over and whipsers something to them. As soon as the old man’s mouth stops moving the boys hop on a horse and race to the tower as fast as they can. …What did the old man say to them?

Date: 09/05/14 Offence: Murder Detective: Gavranicand the SCH4C Crew Weapon: Poisoned Powdered Donut Briefing: At ~8:00 pm at the Simpson household, during a dinner party hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Simpson, Homer Simpson was poisoned and murdered by one of the house guests. Det. Gavranic, an invited guest, arrives shortly after the gruesome murder. He locks in all the guests and calls his special team of chemistry students.

Situation: Homer Simpson was eating a powdered donut when he suddenly had a massive allergic reaction leading to his death. Someone coated the donuts with a special white powder. The three suspects all had white powder on their fingers. It is up to Det. G. and his students to figure out ....... WHO KILLED HOMER!? You must test the three powders found on the fingers of the 3 suspects and match it to the powder found on Homer’s donut.
