ACTIVE COMPANIES IN LOW POWER The market for small wind turbines in Argentina is very interesting, it can be for example cited the international public tender for the "provision, installation, commissioning and maintenance of 1500 residential wind systems" in the Province of Chubut, in the framework of the Renewable Energy in Rural Markets Program (PERMER). There are several companies, but just to cited as examples: • INVAP (Own technology) http://www.invap.com.ar/ produces 4.5 kW turbine • Giacobone SA (Own technology) http://www.giacobone.com/ Producing equipment 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 kW.

PRIORITIES IN ARGENTINA (in my opinion) • Human resources training. • Exchange and integration between companies, research centers and universities. • Implement a “Technical Education Program” for politicians, that usually decide without considering real technical issues.
