1st Example Title: Discobolus Artist: Myron Year: 450 B.C. The figure is presented at a point of perfect balance. His pose is calm, body is strong, he is neither ordinary man or a god.
2nd Example Title: Narthex Tympanum Artist: Myron Year: 1120 CE The sculpture fits a arching space over a door. The figure in the middle is Jesus and he is larger than the other figures and he is in the center.
