  2. Does Augsburg plan to make new publications available as downloads for e-readers, kindles, etc?Will old titles continue to be digitized and made available as downloads?

  3. Fortress Press is the #1 denominational publisher in terms of number of titles available for eReaders • As of the end of January: • Amazon Kindle = 1200+            • Nook = 900 • Google = 1500 • Apple = 100 • We will continue to selectively convert backlist titles to eReader formats.

  8. Bible Storytelling DVD–animated scripture re-tellings that bring the Bible to life. • Pre-Reader & Reader Learner Leaflets  – Kids use the learner leaflets each week to experience the story. Each leaflet is highly visual and interactive. • Pre-Reader & Reader Leader Packs –  Visual cues and brief, clear descriptions help leaders save time each week. Each pack contains all the lesson material leaders need, including supply lists and scripture references. • Holy Moly Bible Storybooks- Rhyming Bible storybooks for Pre-Readers reinforce the Bible through engaging language and colorful illustration. • NRSV Bible – Readers continue learning about the Bible story through the interactive pages of the NRSV text

Holy Moly scope and sequence follows the arc of the biblical narrative.  Each year, lessons begin with the Old Testament in the fall, and end with New Testament in the spring.  Seasonal content for Advent and Christmas and Holy Week and Easter are sold in separate four session units. • The first Old Testament unit, including 12 sessions, will be released at the end of May.

  14. Future role of Augsburg Fortress in the Book of Faith initiative? Will adult education resources continue to be produced after those currently in the pipeline are finished?Concern about the downturn in adult education resources particularly.

  18. What is AFP thinking/planning re: faith formation resources for the long haul? Looking at numbers today, can you compare/project the percentage of resources in the next 3-5 years?

  22. I've often had requests for a 1 or 2 volume commentary that I'd recommend. Is Fortress Press thinking of doing something like that? Yes.
