Department’s Vision for CTE - Ensuring that all students acquire the skills they need to compete, to follow a clear pathway into the middle class, and continue to prosper. ~ Department’s Blueprint for Perkins Reauthorization
Department’s Vision for CTE - Students participating in effective CTE programs graduate with industry certifications or licenses and postsecondary certificates or degrees that prepare them for in-demand careers within high-growth industry sectors. ~ Department’s Blueprint for Perkins Reauthorization
Department’s Vision for CTE Scaling up high quality CTE programs that: • Offer career awareness and preparation. • Provide academic and technical knowledge and work-related skills. • Incorporate college- and career-readiness standards aligned to the needs of employers, industry, and labor. • Implement curriculum that combines integrated academic and technical content and strong employability skills. • Offer work-based learning opportunities .
