  2. Purpose • Reduce paper. • Process in a timely manner. • Reduce need for storage space. • 100% electronic record. • Electronic attachments. • (Gift Deposit Form ect.) • Reduce back-end workload • Scanning and Indexing

  3. Implementation Dates Process is available NOW! Several departments already using process. Departmental hands on training available throughout the Summer 2018 semester. Goal to have all departments using form by August 2018.

  4. Submitting Electronic Deposits What you need? Computer with Internet Access. UND IDM Scanner for paper documentation. Link to online departmental deposit form.

Submitting Electronic Deposits Example https://dmsforms.ndus.edu/iFiller/iFiller.jsp?fref=2bb5caf4-4bd4-42c4-92b8-e19b922eaa6c Tips • Don’t manually type into subtotal fields. • If Dept. name is not in the drop down, contact Matt.Lukach@UND.edu • Description can only be 30 characters. • When submitting multiple deposits you will need to refresh screen for each deposit. • Written Instructions will be emailed to you after the training.

  8. UND Business Service Center Reminders • Description field • Please provide a useful description; do not use “DEPOSIT” as the description. This description is input into PeopleSoft and may be helpful at a later date when searching for information. • Examples: • If donation, indicate name of donor • If refund, indicate Refund and Voucher Reference No, such as: “V00245657” • If business day deposits, indicate Date of Business, such as “Dep 03.05.18” • Attachments: • Check Stubs • Letters associated with checks (ex donations) • Gift Deposit Form – for all deposits to 478005

  9. UND Business Service Center Reminders • If your department is expecting a payment by wire or by direct deposit (ACH), please notify UND Business Service Center (BSC) • Send email to Emily.Goodoien, Melissa.Mager, and Lisa.Heher • Include the name of the individual or agency making the payment, the payment amount, and chartfield that it should be deposited to once it has been received. • UND BSC will process the deposit
