Expository/How To Presentation Project Presentation STRAWBERRY PIZZAZZ Example
Parts of the Project Part 1: Write an informal essay. Write an introduction and attention getter. Your topic could be a “recipe” presentation, but it does NOT have to be a food demonstration! List the materials needed, such as the ingredients, and explain the steps, using “imperative” verbs. Conclude the essay with reasons to try what you are demonstrating, for example the recipe. You can also simply encourage your audience to “give it a try.”
Strawberry Pizzazz Have you ever been sitting at home on a hot summer day and wanted something refreshing to drink? You go into the kitchen and there you find the same old thing, soft drinks and juice. Well, I have an idea, why not try Strawberry Pizzazz? It is a fruity, refreshing drink that will definitely quench your thirst on a steamy summer day.
Making Strawberry Pizzazz is fairly simple. You will need: 1 can of frozen pink lemonade, 1 two liter bottle of ginger ale, 1 pint fresh strawberries, 1 container of whipped topping, ice and a blender. First, slice your strawberries up into the blender. Then add your ice. Next, pour in your can of pink lemonade and about 2 cups of ginger ale. Finally, blend the ingredients until completely mixed. When finished, pour into cups and top with whipped topping.
Now you have made Strawberry Pizzazz. So, the next time you are sitting at home on a hot summer day, wishing for a refreshing drink, why not blend up some Strawberry Pizzazz? Then sit back under the shade tree, relax, and enjoy.
Part 2: Create a presentation Organize the process into 5-10 easy-to-follow steps. Be creative and attractive with the demonstration. Gather materials to demonstrate. Your visual aid could be a poster with steps illustrated, a Power Point, or a series of physical demonstrations (space permitting). Have finished product or photo to show.
Step 3: Prepare your oral presentation Prepare to talk for about 5 minutes. Have the visual aids prepared and be able to use the visual aids during your talk. Remember, it doesn’t have to be a food item! Be responsible for all the materials you need for the presentation.
