University of Chicago MRSEC 0213745 Cabot Microelectronics Company The Cabot Microelectronics Company hosted a delegation from the Chicago MRSEC on February 1st for the inaugural “Cabot Day.” The MRSEC delegation toured Cabot facilities, and Director, Sidney Nagel, presented an overview of the Chicago MRSEC’s research activities and facilities. An invitation was extended to Cabot scientists to utilize our shared facilities and many ideas for potential collaborative projects between Cabot and MRSEC researchers were explored. New Cabot employee, and recently departed MRSEC postdoc, Kenneth Nicholson, was the local organizer of Cabot Day. The Aurora, Illinois, headquarters of Cabot Microelectronics Corp.
