  4. Energy View of BSEC Countries • Presents annually updated data concerning the energy sector of the BSEC countries • Reveals investment opportunities in the BSEC region • Triggers regional energy synergies and trade transactions

PROMITHEAS-3 Proposal (1/2) • Call: FP7-INCO-1 • Aim: To coordinate networking and strategic partnership of EU, BSEC and Central Asia countries’ scientific and research activities in the energy and climate policy areas • Duration: 01/2009 – 01/2011 • Participants: 17 PROMITHEAS network partners

PROMITHEAS-3 Proposal (2/2) • Proposed activities • Annual energy and climate policy workshops • Science & Technology workshops • Scientific journal • Energy policy making publications • High – level scientific training seminars and summer schools • Energy and climate policy conferences • Website – newsletter

Long – Distance Training Proposal • Aim: A network covering 14 countries of the broad Black Sea and Central Asia regions on energy and climate policy topics • Methodology: Combined use of synchronous, asynchronous platforms and traditional training • Duration: 16 months • Estimated cost: 200,000 € • Source of financing: Hellenic Aid
