‘Found’ Poems. Writing a poem from bits and bobs from here there and everywhere…. What is it?. The other day, my eyes fell on a random line from the book I was reading, and I thought it would make a good start to a poem… So I wrote it down… And then I did it again…. I beg your pardon….

I beg your pardon… • Get a book. • Shut your eyes. 3. Flick through the pages. 4. Bring your finger down blindly on a small string of words. 5. Write them down. 6. Repeat this process until you have a nice selection of interesting phrases. 7. Combine them to make a poem!
