Qualifications and Hiring Requirements • Master’s degree in library science required • Subject master’s may be required or preferred • Experience may be required in place of a degree • Advanced degrees held or in progress: • Master’s – music, fine arts, Russian studies, international studies, communications • Ph.D. – chemistry, paleontology, history, political science, English literature, library science
