Take a minute to think about the term Intelligent Transportation System and then name a few of the goals that an Intelligent Transportation System might be designed to achieve. • Improve safety • Improve security • Improve transportation times • Improve fuel consumption

System – A group of interacting, interrelated, or interdependent elements or parts that function as a whole to accomplish a goal. b. Resources– Things needed to get a job done. c. Requirements– The parameters or limitations placed on the development of a product or system.
