1921 • She took flying lessons from Neta Snook. • Neta Snook called her a natural. • Amelia liked to fly between wires that were only eight feet apart! Amelia Earhart with her teacher, Neta Snook, and her first plane.
1922 • She set her first record flying to a height of 14,000 feet. • She set the record in her first plane that she got from her parents and sister. Amelia Earhart’s first plane.
1932 • She became the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. • She was the fastest to cross the Atlantic twice by air in May.
1935 • She became the first person to fly solo across the Pacific Ocean. • She flew from .Honolulu, Hawaii to Oakland, California in January.
July 2 • She disappeared near Howland Island in the Pacific. • Some people say that they claim to find bones, and they think it might be her bones. • Some people think the Japanese might of captured her. • Some people think she might have landed on a deserted island.
