What else happened??? • John Wilkes Booth, snuck in behind Lincoln and shot him in the head.
What happened then? • Booth jumped to the stage floor, broke his leg, and escaped with Herold…..
Booth and Herold hid for 2 weeks before their capture….. What now????
Then what???? * Troops set fire to the barn where they were hiding. Herold surrendered and Booth was shot in the barn before burning with it.
Others…. • Other conspirators involved were hung afterwards for their crime…..
