All car riders exit the front doors in the foyer area of the building. Students need to exit and go outside immediately. Do not wait for your friends inside the building. Walkers who exit the front of the building will be given consequences (D-Hall/SAC)
Students are not permitted to wait in front of the building on the sidewalk in the area shown.
All bus riders will walk towards the elective’s hallway by the front office.
…and immediately exit the doors at the end of the hallway. Outside, you will see a map with your bus routes. Find your bus and board immediately.
Most students that are upstairs will walk down the front stairwell at dismissal.
Some students will walk downstairs using the back stairwell on the west side of the building…
All walkers will exit the corner door on the east side of the building, by Big Mac. No walkers will exit the front foyer.
All walkers must immediately exit the campus by either crossing Gloger Street to the Big Mac side or by walking through the Auto Zone Parking Lot. You must wait for your friends across the street. You cannot wait in the AutoZone parking lot. If you wait on campus and do not leave immediately, you may receive consequences of D-Hall or SAC.
Students may wait at the fence across the street for friends. DO NOT ENTER BIG MAC’S PARKING LOT, OR YOU WILL BE ISSUED A CITATION FOR TRESSPASSING! You must walk around the school to go home.
Again, students may not wait in the Auto Zone parking lot. You will be issued lunch detention, after-school detention, SAC, or Suspension for loitering in the parking lot.
All of these procedures are in place to make your high school experience safe. Your goals this year is to earn all of your credits, pass the TAKS tests in reading and mathematics, and become sophomores at the end of the year. We hope that you had a good first day!
